Hôtels en Transition SA

Swiss based company, Hôtels et Patrimoine was born in 2005, under the management of its two founders Anne SOUTHAM-AULAS and Philippe GUENAT. Hôtels et Patrimoine owns 100% of the following hotel companies:

  • H&R Nouvelle Couronne SA (hotel de la Nouvelle Couronne in Morges and hotel du Boulevard in Lausanne)
  • H&R Les Horlogers SA (hotel des Horlogers in Geneva)
  • H&R Les Inventions SA (hotel des Inventions in Ecublens, opening 2013)
  • H&R AlaGare SA (hotel AlaGare in Lausanne)
  • H&R Aux Remparts SA (hotel Aux Remparts in Fribourg, opening 2012)

Strategy

Hôtels et Patrimoine bases its strategy on creating a modern and "boutique"  hotel collection through the acquisition of underperforming hotel buildings, their renovation and their repositionning in the 3 and 4* segments of the hotel industry. With the opening of a 6th hotel in Fribourg in 2012, Hôtels et Patrimoine will acceed to the status of "Swiss hotel group".

Hôtels et Patrimoine is the owner of the buildings as well as the hotels' management companies. It handles all the process going from acquiring the buildings, renovating them and managing the hotels, once back on the market.

 

Shareholders

Hôtels et Patrimoine shareholder’s capital is of 18.825 mio CHF. It is owned by pension funds (36%), private shareholders (21%), companies (38%) and the founders of the company (5%).

Location of hotel properties

The hotels of the group are located in the cantons of Geneva, Vaud and Fribourg. In future, the group could develop its locations to the whole west part of Switzerland.
